It was during the 40th Annual Wright City Rodeo that international photographer, Lord Tony Snowdon (Anthony Armstrong-Jones) arrived in Idabel as a guest of artist, Harold Stevenson. The premise for the visit was for Snowdon to photograph the Wright City rodeo – an example of true Americana on the Fourth of July. His article appeared in Esquire magazine.

There is no charge for the event. MCHS members and non-members are welcome to attend.
